Alternative medicine has become more widely accepted these days. Holistic or complementary medicine aims to maximize the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of health. It aims to be a complete healthcare system that looks at all aspects of a person before a diagnosis and treatment.
Complementary medicine may be able to help us get back in tune with our bodies as it encourages us to be responsible for our own well-being.
