Alfredo Darrington Bowman (26 November 1933 – 6 August 2016), better known as Dr. Sebi,[5] was a Honduran vegetarian herbalist, healer, pathologist, biochemist, and naturalist of holistic medicine who was litigated in 1988 in the New York City Supreme Court and faced civil and criminal charges for practicing medicine without a license. Although not a licensed physician, witnesses had testified that their health was improved as a result of USHA's dietary programs; after the prosecution failed to convince the jury that Bowman did in fact make a medical diagnosis, Bowman was later found not guilty. He based his concepts on an Alkaline diet that would nurture the cells of the body and activate the body's bio-electric conductivity for healing properties, opposed to a diet consisting of acid, blood (meat), starch, and hybrid foods that he claimed causes disease. His core principles are biblical and uses God’s Word as his guide for a combination of herbs and natural practices for conditions of the human body.

What is Holistic Healing?
The ultimate goal of holistic rejuvenating is wholeness. In achieving wholeness, we must consider all aspects of our lives including:
Revering our body
Rejuvenating our relationships
Caring for our environment
Exhibiting love for all humankind
Living our life purport
So what is holistic rejuvenating?
Lets start with the obvious…or not so obvious…
The Rudiments – What is health?
The state of ‘health’ imperatively insinuates that all natural processes that support life are functioning at an optimal level in their intended alignment.
There are three general types of ‘health’ – physical health, phrenic health and spiritual health. We conventionally treat each one discretely as though they are not related…for instance, we might visually perceive a psychologist for noetic health, a medico for our physical health and a rejuvenator for our spiritual health.
But is it genuinely possible to disunite physical health from noetic health from spiritual health? Can we maintain our physical health in the absence of phrenic health?
At any given time, we each sit somewhere along the spectrum of physical, phrenic and spiritual health…
Body-Mind-Soul-Spectrums
But don’t they all betoken an identically tantamount designation?
It is only when we view ourselves from a holistic perspective that we realise that health is genuinely an overall state of being.
We are either in balance or out of balance, aligned or misaligned, integrated or disintegrated, and that’s what makes us feel well or unwell. Too simple to be true? Maybe not…
The body, mind and soul work as a system with each part contributing equipollently to whole person. When in flow, this system facilitates the natural flow of energy throughout the body, without blockages or resistance. When out of flow, this natural flow is interrupted as energy accumulates and stagnation of energy occurs.
The Defintion – What is holistic rejuvenating?
First, we must answer the question, ‘what precisely is rejuvenating?’
Rejuvenating is about bringing any imbalance into alignment with its natural state of functioning.
Every organ in our bodies has a natural or ‘healthy’ state of functioning as do our emotional, phrenic and spiritual states. When we are out of balance, we feel like something is malapropos – whether it comes in the form of emotional or physical pain or discomfort – and we naturally want to return to our natural state of harmony, when everything ‘works’ as intended. This process of re-balancing is synonymous with rejuvenating.
Holistic rejuvenating bypasses the ‘band-avail fix’ approach of conventional medicine, looks beyond a person’s physical state and optically discerns the holistic view of their state of being or functioning. It acknowledges that the root cause of a physical illness may in fact be non-physical.
Holistic rejuvenating works when we we approach life from all aspects of being – physical, emotional, phrenic and spiritual…

Ergo, a holistic approach is considered to be more efficacious because change occurs on all levels and as a result, positive changes are more liable to last long-term and amend a person’s overall quality of life.
When we rejuvenate holistically, we address imbalances on all levels, rather than one or two, and so it becomes a perennial process in achieving overall life balance. The ultimate goal of aligning the body, mind and soul promises a more blissful, more salubrious, more balanced state of being.
